Welcome! My name is Jason Rouse. I am a web developer who works with various technologies to create functional websites and applications. I use languages like Javascript(ES6), HTML, CSS and Ruby. I love creating applications with frameworks like React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, Rails, Bootstrap, Bulma and jQuery. When I'm not sitting in front of my laptop, I'm either online wrecking lives in CoD or at the gym wrecking ankles on the court.
Before I was a developer I worked at Wal-Mart as a Department Manager. This position taught me various soft skills like leadership and managing a team. Prior to Wal-Mart I received my Bachelors of Arts in Multimedia Production from Cal-State Northridge.
Currently I am working on a web application called PodFreq that will allow podcasters to host and share their podcast episodes. Once they share it, anyone with the link can visit that shows page and listen to an episode through the embeded media player.
A MERN stack application that gives podcasters a platform to upload and share their podcasts so visitors can listen to them.
A Node application that allows you to create an account and login to create itineraries for trips. Each trip can have multiple activities and will show time and location for all activities.
A site that allows you to create an account store information about your comic book library.
A game based on Cards Against Humanity that can be played in your internet browser.
